Céli Godfried (they/she) is an Afro-Curaçaoan and Dutch freelance illustrator; specializing in the cute and colorful. After getting her graphic design degree and working as a creative marketing assistant, she moved from the Netherlands to Denmark to pursue a professional career.
Céli believes representation is important and is passionate about creating diverse, meaningful stories and characters. They enjoy exploring magical worlds through color and design, creating strikingly vibrant illustrations. In her free time she loves to pet cats, watch 5+ hour video essays and play video games.
She has experience in freelance illustration, character design, kid's lit, book & comic covers, game assets, comic coloring, TVA color design, social media marketing; and is currently available for hire.
